Brand new Luxury facilities

Our bathroom facilities are brand new. Both the male and female bathroom's have three showers, toilets and sinks to give you a clean luxury space to wash while you are staying at the site.

Q ~ How long does it take to walk to Southwold Pier?  

a ~ 10 minutes

Q ~ Can we park at our pitch?

a ~ We provide wheelbarrows to carry your belongings from your car to your pitch. The parking is situated on the camping field but we cannot allow cars to drive through the tents. 

 

Q ~ What are your check in and check out times?

a ~ Check in is from 1pm - 5:30pm

      Check out is before 11am

 

Q ~ How many tents do you allow per pitch?

a ~ There is no limit to how many tents you have on each pitch

 

Q ~ Do you allow camper-vans and motorhome home vehicles. 

a ~ yes we have an area of the campsite for campers, to book a camper van spot you must book yourself into an EHU even if you do not require electric.

Q ~ Do you have bikes available to hire?

a ~ Yes we work with Southwold Cycle hire who have bikes available on site.

Q ~ Do you have a fridge or Freezer?

a ~ We have a freezer available for ice blocks only. 

Q ~ Can we bring our own BBQ and Fire pit

a ~ Fire pits are only available to hire through our booking system or on site subject to availability. We will enforce an open fire ban if we have very dry weather conditions. You are welcome to bring your own BBQ's or hire them from us.

Q ~ Do you allocate pitches?

a ~ Campers are directed to an area of the campsite which would suit them best and then are free to choose where they pitch

Things to do...

Visit the beach and iconic beach huts!

  • There is plenty of parking here at the campsite, so there's no need to stress about finding a parking space beside the seaside. It's only a 10 minute walk along our footpath, so unwind and enjoy the view animals walking through the farm.

 

Take in all that Southwold has to offer, a 10-15 minute stroll away from the campsite…

  • Take the Adnams brewery and distillery tour.

  • Go crabbing at the active fishing harbour, complete with pubs and seafood restaurants.

  • Visit the vibrant high street, packed with high end shops, galleries, pubs, bakeries and restaurants.

 

Pick up fish and chips and ice creams to eat on the pier.

  • Boating lake, mini golf and much much more…

Visit Hall farm 

 

Visit Walberswick

• Enjoy a unique rowing boat ferry across the harbour to the neighbouring seaside town of Walberswick. Equally as beautiful, Walberswick boasts meandering marshland walks and similarly soft, sandy beaches.

Chill out at the campsite

• A stunning setting beside the sea, with a rural undertone and all amenities that you will need for a perfect holiday. The camping meadow is partially re-wilded to encourage song birds, bees and butterflies to thrive amongst holiday makers.

A few friendly reminders

​

  • Any dogs that are brought onto the campsite are to be kept on a lead at all times and under control. Upon arrival you must show an up to date vaccination certificate. To ensure the safety of everyone at the site, and of the animals, we have a zero-tolerance policy with disruptive dogs and adherence to the dogs-on-leads rule.

  • Do not cross the surrounding fence into the neighbouring fields under any circumstances, you will be trespassing.

  • Due to a high disease risk the Farm is strictly out of bounds. Any campers found wondering around the farm will be asked to leave.

  • Do not set up camp on top of your neighbours: maintain a respectful distance from them and try not to obscure other campers' views.

  • Please leave the campsite facilities in a clean and tidy state after using them. This applies to washing up areas for dishes, bathrooms, toilets, and showers. Clean facilities make the camping experience much more pleasant for everyone.

  • Rubbish bins for recycling, glass and general waste are located by the car park. Please ensure you do not put any hot ash in these bins, we have metal bins provided for the ash. 

  • No open fires on the grass. Fires can only be made in the fire pits provided and wood used that is purchased on site.

  • For safety purposes no open flame’s inside the tent. Please do not smoke in the toilet or shower blocks and do not put cigarette butts in the general rubbish bins or on the floor, please use the cigarette buckets provided.

  • Parking is provided to the edge of the campsite, we ask that you please use the wheelbarrows provided to take your equipment to your pitch, no access is permitted to the camping field for vehicles other than Pigs in Blankets vehicles.

  • No loud noise after 10:00 pm.

  • If you are camping with children please ensure that they are supervised with full time adult supervision at all times and that they follow the guidance of our camping etiquette.

 

By respecting other campers and the environment, you can ensure that you'll be a great camping neighbour. Plus you can help to make a campsite fun for everyone by setting an example for other campers and avoiding unnecessary stress. Be respectful of other campers and their privacy, keep noise levels down, use your car appropriately, clean up after yourself and dispose of waste properly - then you and your fellow campers can all enjoy your holidays.
